In celebration of the 40th anniversary of IPP Financial Advisers (IPP) in 2023, IPP and FWD Singapore are embarking on a 12-month campaign to create positive change through the power of financial planning and insurance. IPP and FWD Singapore look to protect more lives in the community and also pledge to raise funds for selected non-governemtn organisations (NGOs). #celebrate40

IPP White Collar Boxing Singapore

We sponsored the White Collar Boxing in Singapore and Hong Kong for 6 years to raise money for the Children's Surgical Center in Cambodia. In, December 2018 we were honoured to receive the Outstanding Contribution Award To The Children's Surgical Center awarded by CSC. The Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC) provides a range of specialized rehabilitation surgical services, surgical training, and direct support to the people of Cambodia – free of charge. CSC is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) recognized by the Cambodian Royal Government and organized as a not-for-profit corporation in the USA (state of Alaska). CSC has been determined to be a tax-exempt organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the USA Internal Revenue Code. CSC has no religious or political affiliation.

CSC aims to improve the quality of life for disabled Cambodian children and adults by providing free rehabilitation surgery. Integral to this mission is a program of training local surgeons and health workers, focusing on the development of sustainable health services. CSC provides a wide range of surgery, encompassing orthopaedic surgery, ENT, eye surgery, and plastic surgery.

We run different campaigns throughout the year to raise funds for the CSC. Our most recent White Collar Boxing event in April 2019 managed to raise a total of $158,793.42 for the Children's Surgical Centre. This is the largest amount raised in the history of IPP White Collar Boxing. Unfortunately this event was discontinued at the end of 2019 by the organizers but we continue to support the Children's Surgical Centre in any way we can.

IPP East Coast Beach Cleanup

IPP East Coast Beach Cleanup

Our first beach clean up as a team was on the 6th of July 2019. It was surprising how much rubbish there was to clean up especially on the beach! We plan to do a beach clean up every 4 months to continue to help the community and encourage a cleaner and more environmentally friendly Singapore. All employees, friends, and family are welcome to join in on our next beach clean up! Stay tuned for the announcement of the date for the next beach clean up.

IPP Charity Clothes Drive

IPP Charity Clothes Drive

IPP CSR committee organises a clothes drive for the poor in the Philippines and for the migrant workers in Singapore every 2 months. Each time we are overwhelmed by the amount of donations ranging from baby trams to clothes from the expat community in Singapore. What's amazing is the Filipino maids in the photos take money out of their own pay to ship these donated items to the Philippines. All the other transport costs to other charities are covered by IPP!

Buy a bear for a child

Children's Surgical Center Cambodia

It is always a pleasure for IPP to visit the Children's Surgical Centre in Cambodia. It is truly amazing what difference all the money raised has made at the CSC. New facilities, medical procedures and medical training are possible because of everyone's generous donations and fundraising!

In 2018, IPP introduced a new campaign involving our new IPP bears. It was a great success and brought so many smiles to all the patients at the CSC. Currently we have managed to raise $2,225! We have visited the centre on two occasion in the last two years and look forward to our next visit later in the year. We hope to raise even more money through the Buy a Bear For a Child Campaign before our next visit! If you would like buy a bear for a child click on the link below! 100 percent of the proceeds are donated directly to CSC.

100km Singapore Cancer Society – TalkMed Relay For Life 2019

Singapore Cancer Society

The 100km Singapore Cancer Society – TalkMed Relay For Life 2019 is a 15 hours overnight event that celebrates cancer survivors’ and caregivers' triumphs against the disease. This run is also held to remember the loved ones lost to cancer and to fight back against this disease by raising money for cancer research!

We managed to raise a total of $2177 from all of our fundraising pages and we couldn't have done without all the support. TalkMed 100 km Relay For Life 2019 was truly a challenge for all of us on the EAG team but with persistence and support we battled through the night and reached the 100km mark.

Be a Santa Claus for our Migrant Workers This Christmas

It's Raining Rain Coats

The men who build our skyscrapers (sometimes losing life or limb), dig our underground tunnels, clean our roads and prune our 30-feet trees - transported without seat belts, fed what is sometimes putrid food, housed in cramped quarters, and often times underpaid. Anyone who criticises them should trade places with them for a month and see what it feels like!

This year IPP supported a new campaign that was able to bring happiness to these migrant workers in Singapore during the festive season. Our Business Development Manager Agata Osinska managed to raise a total of SG$1,208 to purchase 100 gift packs for the migrant workers and provide monetary support for the cause! We look forward to continue to support this cause next year and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Draw for cause

SOSD, Voices for Animals & Cat Welfare Society

Draw for cause is a campaign where you  can get a personalised artwork done for free by our valued partner Woofer and Purrlensky  if you donate $150 to any of the three local animal shelter or charity via our Simply Giving campaign page! We managed to raise a total of $4600 during this campaign! All the proceeds went directly to SOSD, Voices for animals, and Cat Welfare Society. It was an easy and fun way to raise money for the furry ones who have no voice!

Gods' Heritage Home (Batam, Indonesia): Let's work together to fix their roof!

God's Heritage Home (Batam Indonesia)

The roof of the God's Heritage orphanage home was in a really bad condition. They were in desperate need of urgent funds to repair the roof before further damage was done. Funds raised during this campaign covered the rebuilding works of the roof, plus 3 months rent in another house beside this children's home, for the kids to live in while the roof is being rebuilt. It warms our hearts to know that the children have their home back now. We managed to raise a total of $1,697 to repair the roof of the orphanage!
